The 2008 Sports Banquet was a hit, with coaches and parents honoring students who have contributed in a positive way on and off the field. Sixteen teams and two cheerleading squads were represented at the annual event, which was presented by the EAC Sports Center Crew. Besides awarding top players from each team, the athletic department paid tribute to the families of two senior students: Philip Martins’ parents and Barbara Martins’ mother, for their outstanding support of EAC athletics. This year’s banquet also focused on the artistic side of our students. Their paintings  and photography projects were displayed around the cantina and over tables. At the end of this festive evening, the guests were entertained by Tuesday’s Quartet, a music band composed of student-athletes. It was a successful evening in celebration of a successful year.
