Ninety five projects were presented at the 20th EAC Science Fair held on March 14 and 15, 2005. The objective of the Science Fair program is to provide the students with an opportunity to undertake a long-term semi-independent project on a topic that they are interested in.
We were lucky to have the help of the following judges: Benedito Oliveira Filho, Berenice Carneiro, Cassio Murin, Elza da Cruz Vascocellos, José Armando Valente, José Luiz Donato, Luciana Benjamin Benatti, Nancy Lopes Garcia, Otavio Henriqure Pavan, Rene Brenzikofer and Douglas Takeuti. We would like to thank them for generously donating their time and also giving us some very valuable feedback. On the positive side, we have improved in the area of data collection but we must work on the analysis and significance of the results. Students also have also shared some concerns and ideas, which we will try to incorporate into our future fairs.
